➢After India became independent in 1947, we did not secure the border so that infiltrators from other countries come to India. Even at that time, many people choose Pakistan but some infiltrators came to India. Intrusion is a major threat to India and its security, Indira Gandhi herself has expressed concern about the crisis. Today, the problem of intruders in the eastern states and Bengal has taken a serious turn.
➢Though the problem is so big, no politician has dared to come up with a solution due to fear of vote bank and fear that we will do, this will cause chaos in the country? no one dared to imagine such a fantasy.
➢Now the question is, what is the solution to this problem?
As part of the settlement, a register is first created so that it can be known that who is Indian and non-Indian, for this NRC(National Register of Citizen(India)) is applied so that it can be known who is Indian and non-Indian.
➢The people who are non-Indian have two types
1)refugees
2)intruders
Who are refugees?
refugees are a person who has been forced to their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster. So they ask for help from India for living. But the government is aware of these people.
Who are Intruders?
these people cross the border illegally to earn a living here in India. now after coming here, they have no official records, so even if they commit any criminal acts, they will not be caught. such people are often risky, though many of them come for the purpose of earning only.
➢With the implementation of the NRC, as mentioned above, the identity of the non-Indians will be identified. the new law that the government introduced to do this work is Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB).
➢According to this bill, the people that are Hindu, Sikh, Parsee, Christian, Buddha, and Jain who came from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will get citizenship and the Muslims who have come from these countries will not get citizenship.
➢Now the question is, why not give Muslims Citizenship?
the people of above 6religions are struggling in these 3countries and are been tortured. Today, in Pakistan there are only 2%Hindus out of 24%, it means they have been killed or they have changed their religion. In Afghanistan, the people of Buddhism were 4%, now there is 0%. So to give shelter to these people is our responsibility. But those who are Muslims can go to their country because they are not victims. They have come for livelihood or to spread chaos.
➢If the CAB is passed in the parliament, the people of all 6 religions will get Indian citizenship. What about those Muslims? Now the people who do not come to NRC those people will go to their country. if there is anyone who cannot go back, First they will be stripped of all their rights as citizens, such as voting, receiving government benefits, etc. the government will continue to negotiate with the neighboring country to find their roots. Until the country accepts them, they will be able to live in India peacefully and the government will take care.
➢The biggest illusion is that this bill opposes Muslims but it is not that, Indian Muslims have nothing to do with it. The intruders have to be sent back to their homes because they are not victims in their country. We must pass the CAB for the government of India to implement the NRC.
➢Note- Intruders are a huge threat to the security of the country.
