What makes Mona Lisa's painting special?

Mona Lisa's painting is one of the most well-known paintings in the world. She has worn less skin-revealing clothes in a translucent curtain, dark robes, and without precious gems and jewels.

The book that defined the painting for Victorians, created after 350+ years after Leonardo painted it. 

At that time, people loved that book as it was difficult to see the artwork, which makes a portrait more significant. Oscar Wilde (16 October 1854 – 30 November 1900) was an Irish poet and playwright, appreciated book writing.

How Mona Lisa's Painting got stolen?


On August 21, 1911, Vincenzo Peruggia  (the former Lourve worker) stole the portrait and took it home. The painting went missing for two years, and every time, the media often quote pater as it was the most enormous painting. They think that because of Mona's beautiful smile the thief had stolen the painting, and they always daydreamed about Mona Lisa's painting location.

Thousands of people visited the museum just to see the empty wall without a portrait.

When the theft Vincenzo Peruggia got caught, he revealed that his aim was to bring the painting back to her native Italy. It was a big reveal after 2 years of suspense, then painting attracted presidential speeches, Shown in each paper that reported her recovery, and becomes a great story. That's how Mona Lisa's painting becomes the most famous painting in the world.
