The US Confirms First Death due to Coronavirus

The Coronavirus cases jump to 87,000 with a total death count of 2979 according to Worldometer. While the US confirms first death in Washington. 

The state health official said- The patient infected with the Coronavirus has died. The first death in the US due to Coronavirus. The patient in his 50s is admitted to the hospital of Kirkland, Washington.

The patient has no travel history or contact with infected people that cause him the virus, said Dr. Robert Redfield, US CDC (Center for Disease Control) director, at White House.

Three positive cases are announced on Saturday in which one patient has died and the other two are - a woman in her 40s in an adequate condition, she is a worker at a health care center and the other woman in her 70s is in serious condition.

Jeffery Duchin, chief health officer for King County and Seattle, visited Lifecare Center in Kirkland and found 27 residents out of 108 and 25 staff members out of 180 have shown Coronavirus symptoms, and also said that he would not be surprised to find additional cases. The CDC said they were sending a team to support investigation in Washington.
